Samples/Loops Terms of Service

By purchasing or downloading loops and samples from LoopLib (“the Creator”), you are granted a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the audio files solely for the purpose of creating derivative music productions. The kits on our site are royalty free for online beat leasing and small (under 500,000 streams) releases. However, once a release has reached over 500,000 streams, the loop must be cleared and the royalties / publishing will be split fairly.

2. Use

You are permitted to sell beats online incorporating the Creator’s loops and samples without the requirement to pay additional license fees, provided that you hold a valid license from LoopLib.

3. Streaming and Distribution

You may distribute your derivative works on digital streaming platforms (DSPs) royalty-free up to a maximum of 500,000 streams. For streams exceeding this limit, please contact the Creator for further licensing arrangements.

4. Major and Independent Label Placements

In the event of a placement with major record labels, independent labels, or other significant commercial opportunities, you are required to obtain clearance from the Creator. This ensures proper licensing and avoids potential copyright infringement.

For the purpose of this agreement: - A “major label” is defined as one of the three largest record labels (Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group) or any of their subsidiaries. - An “independent label” (or

“indie label”) is defined as any record label that operates without the funding of or outside the organizations of the major labels.

5. Exclusions

This ToS does not apply to drum samples and MIDI chord packs, which may be subject to separate terms and conditions.

7. Acknowledgment

By using Looplib’s loops and samples, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Looplib reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
